Description

Housing Benefits 101 offers online information and tools to help people find housing and housing programs that meet their needs.

It provides:
* Guidance on how to plan for your housing needs
* Options and suggestions for specific situations, such as when you are moving out of Foster Care or a Care Facility
* Guides to programs that can help pay for your housing
* Information on housing programs that can also provide other services

Two free online tools help people find housing:
* HB101 Places helps people find vacancies in housing programs, such as Boarding and Lodging with Special Services (BLSS), that offer services or that make it easy to bring services in. Find Adult Foster Care services and Board and Lodge programs across Minnesota. Filters can help you create a list that meets your needs and matches your housing support benefits.
* The HB101 Homeless Services in Minnesota Map helps people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to find their nearest Coordinated Entry (CE) resource. The Coordinated Entry System (CES) connects people with the emergency shelters in their area. Click on your location on the map, and it will point you to the Coordinated Entry service in your area.
