Description

Minnesotans with certain conditions are eligible to enroll in the Medical Cannabis Registry maintained by the state. Patients on the registry can get medical cannabis (marijuana) directly from one of eight dispensaries set up around the state.

* Hibbing
* Mankato
* Minneapolis
* Moorhead
* Rochester
* St. Cloud
* St. Paul
* Willmar
* Woodbury


Location details


Medical cannabis will be provided as a liquid, pill or vaporized delivery method that does not require the use of dried leaves or plant form.

Eligibility

Legal Minnesota residents that have been certified with one of the qualifying conditions are eligible.


Fees

Annual fee is $200 for patients to participate in the program; fees are paid online. Cannabis products have a separate fee, payable at the cannabis patient centers.


Reduced annual fee of $50 for Minnesotans receiving Social Security disability, Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA), Supplemental Security Insurance Payments, or enrolled in medical assistance or MinnesotaCare.
